normal weight gain?

On the 2nd, I weighed and measured Carl, he was 28.35 grams and 5.09 centimeters. Today, a week later, he is 31.18 grams, and 5.39 centimeters.

Holy cow, he gained a lot in a week... but he has been outside for 8 hours a day this week, and now that the bird seed is sprouting, he's pretty much constantly eating little baby plants.

Oh, and just because I know it probably matters, he was soaked and pooped before each weigh in.

Carl is doing GREAT, it sounds like. Nothing better than lots of healthy sunshine for a growing youngster-tort.

Are you offering him chopped cactus pads, for calcium, a couple X a week?
