Last September I received 4 hatchlings from gardenstatetortise.

They spent approximately 7 months indoors in a 75, growing quickly. This May I moved them outside to a small pond in my 3 toed box turtle enclosure. Once water temps were in the high 50s at night. A temporary place for this spring and summer. One was under 4" at the time of moving outdoors. Initially, they were quite secretive. Several months later they come out for pellets, but still skittish at times. Which is good.

A few pics from the pond. Not the best. Tough to get really close. Loving these dudes, even though they destroyed my lily pads. Hoping for 2 females.

They have shown no interest in the resident frogs, their eggs or tadpoles.

Really cool turtles I plan on having some in the future. They are everywhere around here. I caught a bunch as a kid just be ready for when they become giants.
