My box turtles are 4 and 6 years old; is this still considered juveniles? At what age are they considered adults? Also, my turtles are unsafe in an outdoor enclosure to due raccoons, possums, etc. I choose to keep them indoor most of the time; will they still stop eating/greatly reduce activity even if I set up the conditions NOT TO HIBERNATE? Thanks. Howard

keep the enclosure really bright for 14hrs a day with high humid , keep the temp 75-80 with a hot spot in one corner …….. might slow down at first , but it should pick up soon as they're acclimated …… rain outdoors turns on turtles , if you can make it rain indoors it works too …….
