nutrobal and cricket dust

so ....... when i first got my tortoise the lady told us we had to buy nutrobal and komodo cricket dust, she told us to sprinkle them both on his food.

over time i began to use it less and less, i never use the cricket dust anymore as it says on the bottle "for live food" and i don't feed him love food. I occasionally use the nutrobal powder but my tortoise Elliot seem to turn away from his food when the powder is on.

Do i need to continue using both powders or not has anyone got any recommendations?

What kind of tortoise do you have? Looks like a Russian, I would never feed love food like insects or meat to it, they don't eat that stuff in the wild. Now idk what Nutrobal is so someone else hopefully can help you with that!!!

i have a 5 year old horsefield tortoise called Elliot and when I said love i meant live.

I would never feed him live food anyway. so should i say clear from the cricket dust.

Yea cricket dust I wouldn't use for the tortoise, it's meant for lizards and insectivores.

Hi I use nutrobal every other day it is for she'll helps digest food . One off my tortis walk away too I sprinkle on salad then turn salad over .
