One of my hermans tortoises has got a lump on one their back legs next to the tail. I am putting them into hibernation and wanted to know if it is a bad thing.

Can you post a pic? Might not be a good thing to put them in hibernation, not knowing what it could be. See what others think.

I would hold off on supporting brumation for the tort with the mystery lump....the other one should be aok if it is healthy and free of lumps...

A clear pic would be so much more helpful :D

Here is a pic it was hard to get a clear one though.

There is an arrow pointing to the lump. There seems to be some skin that has come of next to it.

It looks more like a slight injury to me...more than a lump. I think minor first aid would be all that is necessary.
