This is Odyss our sulcata tortoise ..
Odyss is 2 and a half months old and it is 46 grams .. Should I be worried?

I think that the pet shop where I got him was not taking proper care of him and I think maybe that is why he is so small.

What should I feed him to help stimulate his growth? Any suggestions would help!

Don't worry, they all grow at their own pace. However, I am sure he wasn't getting the best diet at the store. If you can let him graze outside on weeds and grasses, flowers, cactus, that is a great diet. Store bought dark leafy greens, spring mix, dandelion greens, mustard and collard greens small amounts, endive, some romaine, Mazuri tortoise chow a couple times a week. Also check out the tortoiselibrary and the tortoisetable for more safe edible plant items.

I wouldnt be worried as long as he is eating and drinking like normal. Just make sure you keep him humid, hydrated, and warm and he will grow like a weed. What is your diet for him/her right now?

Hey I would have replied buy I was watching, “Modern Family"! So I think he looks quite good for a pet shop tort. He probably is dehydrated though, and with daily soaks and good food as outlined above, will be gaining noticeably in even the next two weeks! Keep him warm and moist and watch him grow!

At first all I fed him was romaine, for a few days until I got great advice on this forum. Now his diet is expanding to a mixture of collard greens, mustard greens, rose petals, turnip greens, and some cactus. Thanks for the advice!

I would try to incorporate mazuri into his diet at least a few times a week if not everyday.
