Old threads

Recently there have been dozens of OLD posts that have been resurrected out of what should have been an archive grave yard.

Some sites lock threads older than 30 days (or other period). I think that is a good idea.

Thoughts on doing that here?

We did agree at one time in the recent past, to close older threads, however, none of us seems to have the time to do so. We'll try to start the practice again. Thanks for the reminder.

Just curious. What's wrong with old threads being brought back up?

For me, its because I don't usually look at the date of the original post and have to read through many answers before it finally clicks in my brain that this is an old post and the OP isn't on the forum anymore, or the question doesn't apply any more. I don't know why it bugs Chad.
