This is how Opo decided to sleep tonight with the fan on.

They are so funny. Today when I tried to bring Sapphire in because of the heat it took two of us to find him. He was hidden really good under a big clump of grass. His shell wasn't even warm and the temperature was 107°f. I probably didn't even need to worry. It looks like Opo knows where it's cool 😎 too.🤗 he knows where to go.😁

Usually he goes in his box. Then turns around and faces the fan. I guess he was to tired to walk any further. Ms.Sully has a burrow dug pretty deep. I only see her in the evening after the sun is low.

My neighbor found another baby sulcata.
I have a good homes for this one. But don't have anyone after that. It's the only picture right now. I will get some better pics. It's unbelievable how far this little guy walked. The yolk sac was completely gone. So it must have been surviving for a few days out there. The neighbors dog kept barking at something. The neighbor went to look what all the fuss was about. Opo was in his enclosure so I put the baby in there. Opo and kept backing up. Wasn't sure what it was.

Inevitably I will get one of these fruits. At the end of the growing season of the cactus. I have 12 plants and I never know which plant will produce it. It is different from the other flower that the plants bear.View attachment 395078View attachment 395081
My Sammy really enjoys the red ones, I purchase them at the Jalapeño market. The red ones are just coming back in season here, he's not crazy about the green one's.

Finally found someone strong enough to get Opo on a scale. He weighed 105lbs,I thought he would be heavier. It is a good scale and was accurate when two people checked their weight.
I am thinking of a strap/cradle to make to pick up Opo.
If I can get something designed, with my prosthetic arm. I will be able to lift Opo. 20251125_160334.jpg
