My boyfriend is a veterinary technician at one of our local vet clinics. One day, they received a bearded dragon lizard from our local shelter, with the memo that they could not take care of it since they didn't know what to do with him. He was seriously neglected, and consequently developed a metabolic bone disease.

I am attaching the link to the Imgur album where we are posting pictures and status updates for our new bearded dragon lizard, Ivar the Boneless. We are doing this to raise awareness for proper animal care. If you don't know something, there is absolutely no shame in asking! There is nothing worse than coming across animals like this with conditions that could have easily been prevented.

That poor baby. I rescued a beardie from his first home just a month ago. He was very, very thin but healthy otherwise. Nothing like this poor baby. Good luck with him.
