Outdoor Enclosure Ideas

Hello everyone! This year, we are planning on making an outdoor enclosure for Rocky!
However, we have red rock and no grass in our backyard. Can we put any type of material so it's better for Rocky? What are some ideas for the enclosure? We have some ideas, but are not sure what would be best.
Rocky is turning two, and is a Russian Tortoise.

For my Russian I put a mixture of Pete Moss and garden soil without any pesticides or fertilizers in it.

Get used wood somewhere and make like a box almost out of it. Make sure it's like a foot above ground and 5 inches below ground. Than nail a small pics of wood on the top to make a shade spot. Plant some grass and other plants and add a water dish and a hide out. It's that easy
