Warm weather is coming soon and I’m going to buy Winston an outdoor enclosure, saw one online and it said it was for guinea pigs and rabbits too so I just wanted to know if I should go for that one, we also built a vivarium but we don’t think he likes it because he frequently tries to go through the glass. Is this normal or should we build another indoor enclosure? 7FCB8657-BCB1-40CC-AF95-225CE18D779B.jpg

Torts don't understand the concept of glass. Lots of them rub up against it. You should black out the glass just high enough so he can't see through or over. You can use some black paint and tape. As for the outdoor pen that would be great. Just make sure you plant some low coverage plants like spider grass and edible plants. You may want to till the soil and plant some seeds. I believe turtle store has seed mixes that are good.
