I plan on keeping my cherry head outside during the summer months and will be starting to build the enclosure once snow melts. I know I have Fox around my house and I’ve never seen one but people have said the seen coyotes. My question is should I dig down alittle bit and put some wood underground to keep predators from digging a hole and trying to sneak in?

Hey! Remind me, is it a baby red foot you have? If so it’s actually advised to primarily house them in their closed chamber set ups for the first few years, a few hours during good weather, in a secure enclosure with plenty of shade is fine though! I just wouldn’t make it his primary living area this summer.

There’s certainly no harm in getting him a nice outdoor space to enjoy though🥰hopefully you’ll find some ideas in the outdoor section here, there’s lots of predator and dig proof examples🐢💚
