Hello everyone,

So, Im finding fleas in my back yard mainly on the driveway where animal (my tort) likes to walk on. I need to take care of this small pest problem and would like to know if anyone has expierence with spraying their backyard. Will home depot/harsh chemicals hurt my two year old tort or does anyone know of a pesticide that will take care of my pest problem and not hurt animal or what labeling i should look out for.

I do understand that torts do soak up chemicals through their feet and shell.

You are correct in assuming that if you use toxins to kill fleas on your property you will poison the tortoise. Here's an alternative:
