Pet Grass - Is it safe to grow and use?

Is the "Pet Grass" they sell in petshops (for cats and dogs)
safe for an indian star tort?

The pet grass is just fine for Stars, but you could find a cheap grass seed that has a weed content and grow that for for your Star. It would be cheaper and get you more grass than the pet grass.
