I have taken a few pics of my hermanns eggs. You can see that the first one that was laid on 3/12/14 (marked X) is completely different in shape and inside to the most recent one. It is also more rough in texture to the second one...

Second one laid 15/12/14

And the difference between the two shapes and sizes...

Do you see how the second egg seems to have something in it but the first one doesn't? It would be so amazing if they hatched!! Im hoping more experienced breeders can give me their opinion on whether the eggs look viable or not. It's impossible not to get carried away and imagine seeing their little gorgeous faces for the first time, there will be pics galore if they do so be prepared lol!!

Hmmm... I just looked up incubation time for Hermann's tortoises: about 90 days, give or take?
HOW will we EVER wait until MARCH!???!!??!?! :p

Oh, WOW!!!!:) You could end up with a whole little family!!!!:p

I think her egg-laying is a beautiful validation of the excellent care you're giving her! This is the kind of place where she wants her babies to live!:p

What a lovely way of looking at it!! It certainly would be lovely if that was the case. She's been good company through some very long nights while im poorly, she gives me something to think about when im feeling a bit scared when I can't breathe properly :)
