Well Barb ......I personally do not like to write on the eggs themselves, so .....the popsicle sticks are my label markers for different clutches. Each representing the Mother's name , any special traits or gene code the egg may be carrying , the number of eggs in the clutch and of course the actual lay date. I keep photo copies ( which I share with you all) a hand written journal as well as a "word" document on the Pc:,.......I chart these out as a graft and can keep very accurate records at a quick glance.

Well......at current ....100+......
I'm still waiting for the Hypo's .........although this is the first year I really let my male Hypo produce more Hets. He is and has been for the last 7 years the only male on the redfoot side of the Cove'. Some of the newer hatchling Hets are first time mothers , which adds to the excitement and wondering what the babies will look like. One such animal was purchased from a forum member 5+ years back from here......but I gather they have no interest in me nor the outcome of one of their babies and it's progression in life......

WOW!! That's really exciting!!! Well, I'm sorry to hear the former owner of your tort might not be interested, in his progress. But I think I speak for a lot of people here, when I say that the rest of us are looking forward to seeing more of your beauties.
