Well Barb ......I personally do not like to write on the eggs themselves, so .....the popsicle sticks are my label markers for different clutches. Each representing the Mother's name , any special traits or gene code the egg may be carrying , the number of eggs in the clutch and of course the actual lay date. I keep photo copies ( which I share with you all) a hand written journal as well as a "word" document on the Pc:,.......I chart these out as a graft and can keep very accurate records at a quick glance.Isn't it an every day good start over thereJust about anyway
I think with all these pics with your sticks in them, you should explain what all the writing is and means. I get the date, that's all I can figure out

WOW!! That's really exciting!!! Well, I'm sorry to hear the former owner of your tort might not be interested, in his progress. But I think I speak for a lot of people here, when I say that the rest of us are looking forward to seeing more of your beauties.Well......at current ....100+......
I'm still waiting for the Hypo's .........although this is the first year I really let my male Hypo produce more Hets. He is and has been for the last 7 years the only male on the redfoot side of the Cove'. Some of the newer hatchling Hets are first time mothers , which adds to the excitement and wondering what the babies will look like. One such animal was purchased from a forum member 5+ years back from here......but I gather they have no interest in me nor the outcome of one of their babies and it's progression in life......
