Hello I've noticed that the plastron is peeling off my new baby yellowfoot tortoise (not sure about his exact age, but measuring at about 6cm).
And there seems to be black lines along the center of his plastron.
Is it just his yolk sac falling off?
I was just concerned that this might be a sign of an infection.
Otherwise he seems perfectly healthy, eating well, pooping well and he's very active within his enclosure.
