While I clean out Lola's enclosure she gets to play outside for a little while. Eating aloe vera to her heart's content.ImageUploadedByTortoiseForum1366316224.777163.jpgImageUploadedByTortoiseForum1366316243.278033.jpg

She's got a nice big enclosure out there. A few things added and that's a nice place for her to live permanently or until cold weather if you get it.

Super cool. Outside time is great!

She's never climbed out of that, huh? Looks like she could walk right out over by the tree trunk.

No she can't crawl over, I'm surprise though I thought she would.

Ahhhh. Give it time my friend. Give it time. Your tortoise will educate you. :D

I love it. A word of caution, though: tortoises kept for long periods on lawn grass have been known to develop shell rot. It seems the moisture evaporating from the grass can be too much for the plastron, if it happens for too long or too often. Might want to give her a dry area to rest in.

I'm hoping she is a little on the slow side jk, I'm sure she will. She has learned to crawl over our siding to get into the aloe vera garden.

Oh ok thanks! She only stays out there when I clean her enclosure once a month for about an hour.

Put some caps on the corners and by the tree to prevent "your tort from educating you".

Thanks, Tom, I love that expression!
