You can find the newest pics of my enclosure on the first page of this thread, just scroll down a bit. Next spring more plants will be added and more grass removed. Good luck planning and building!

Is it true that enclosures shouldn't have glass around them as it confuses the tortoises?

I believe it is yes, they don't understand why they can't get through it, which leads to them walking into it constantly. I'd recommend a tortoise table rather than a vivarium
