Got a new camera for Christmas and found the most cooperative little models! They don't work for peanuts, but they do work for squash!

These are our spider torts by the way.

Amazing pictures Tim & Robin,
On the third pic, it seems like your little one is smilling :).
Really cute models, they deserve the squash :D

Great pictures and great looking tortoise. Is that an SLR camera? How were you able to get so close. Candy:)

Yes, it is a digital SLR. For the first pic I used a cheapie little clip on thing that mimics a macro lens. It's poor quality but all I have right now. I most enjoy getting up-close pics of the tortoises from their level. It seems people mainly notice the shell and not their faces. Our torts tire long before I do of photo sessions :D .

You always give us such delightful pictures to ooh and ahh over. I really like the last one.

I do the same. I love getting right down in there and taking pics of them in a perspective that kind of shows their world :)

Very nice pictures.
