I started out with an Exo Terra Monsoon system. It started leaking badly after two weeks. Then I got a Crane dog-shaped humidifier. It worked for about three weeks. I got another Crane, and it's stopped working after a week. I need to know if anyone has an easy humidity system in place. I am most frustrated. I have a baby cherryhead, so humidity is paramount.

I hooked up my Monsoon again today, but I have it contained in a plastic tub so any leaking water stays in the tub instead of getting on the floor.

The monsoons are junk. Mistking is what I use for my chameleon. Hasn't given me a problem yet and it's been going now for 1 1/2 years I think. The monsoon was the first one I bought, lasted a month and I returned it and got another. That one didn't last much longer and I had to eat the cost. The humidifiers I used for my leopard I purchased locally and when it stopped working I would return it for another. Had too do that twice before I got one that didn't quite on me.

A shallow bowl of water with an aquarium air pump/fine air stone inside is what I've used in the past. Cheap. Foolproof. Not for very large areas.

I have a mistking as well and it's great while I'm at work, so I know it won't be dry in there when I get home

That sounds wonderfully cheap. I love it. Thanks!
