Yes. There are many animal and vegetable options for increasing protein intake.

I feed mazuri, the occasional bug, and plain turkey/chicken in addition to her greens and fruits.

I tried giving her part of a hard boiled egg once and that resulted in horrific smelling white poops... Never doing that again when she's indoors!

Lol that's what I thought for people giving their torts boiled eggs. Smelly poop !!!

As a hatchling, I gave my Princesse a scoop (the size of her head) of a good cat food once or twice a week. Now that she's a big girl, I give her cooked chicken or pinky mice, which is her favorite.
