I think it should be okay as long as he doesn't eat too much of it, just keep an eye on him. Pumpkin usually fed when tortoises have constipation, so eating a lot could cause diarrhea.

Thank you! I will keep an eye on him. He hasn't eaten any yet(he's pretty picky).
