Pumpkin is good....if you have a young tortoise I would remove the seeds so no chance of getting backed up....if grown, no need remove the seeds...

Dead grass? you mean like lawn cuttings? They can, don't know if they will?
:D

I've got some monster pumpkin plants growing this year. Tonight they all had pumpkin leaves and seemed to like it a lot.

I was wondering about the pumpkin leaves myself. I get raw pumpkin seeds in 10 lb. boxes that I dehydrate for my own use & I considered planting some of the seeds. I will try a few in a flat in the house under florescent lighting as the growing season outside is nil now.

Can you give them the pumpkin "innards" or just the flesh of the fruit itself? (For baby Sulcatas)

I'm excited to get KP a little pumpkin this year and I was curious about that as well. I'm assuming I would need to slice it up but will it be too hard for him to bite through?

YEA! It is pumpkin season!!!! I only gave the flesh last year, but I saw threads where other people said they gave innerds, seed and all, but I think that is with big torts. Mine are little so I sliced or chooped the pumpkin flesh.
