We realized the other day how much our male redfoots pyramiding has improved in his last year with us. He has grown a lot and its very flat now. His pyramiding was never too extreme. But the new growth looks great. We thought we would share a few photos (what a posting from us without photos - unheard of!).

Mmmm good request. Always love the requests for more photos=-
But the new growth is also easier to see in the recent photos because its darker colored than the old growth.

Unfortuantely, we didn't take many for the purpose of showing pyramiding when Abberforth first joined us. So here's the best we could find...

Nice job. You can really tell from the old shots how much smoother he is getting.

Freakin' adorable all 'round. Do love the name too, very unique.

Can't take the credit. Abberforth - Albus Dumbledore's brother. From Harry Potter. Our girls are huge fans. :p

Well, speaking as one of the ignorant masses, still sounded like a badass tortoise name in my books. I tend to scour popular names from 1800-1900 until I find something that strikes my fancy. Can't wait to see what sorta names my little girl will give to the new critters I bring home... That is... When she starts talking, of course.

Your tort has nice bright clear eyes from what I see, and beautiful clean coloured scales. Looks like he has quite the lavish life nowadays. Kudos, and thanks for sharing. Love tort pics.
