So I have a Russian tortoise and when she sleeps she sleeps under her log is that unusual?

They like to feel secure. I have one of my russians in like a big sandbox and sometimes instead the hide she'll sleep under the edges. One time she climbed up on it, (no idea how it was possible) and she couldn't find her way down, and I saw and I opened the door and called her, and she walked around the sides right to me so I could help her down lol. ( they are good climbers as well)

They also love to borough. So have the substrate about 6 inches deep, especially in the corners.
