What is the difference between star tortoise and radiated tortoise ?
Can they mate and breed with each other ?
Produce star radiated or radiated star torts !!

They are two different species from different parts of the world. Like dogs and cats: Both furry carnivores with four legs and a tail, but different species.

They should never be housed together, so hopefully the world will never know. Species should never be mixed, and hybrids should never be produced.

I agree. Should never be mixed. Let alone allowed to breed with each other. Both are endangered as it is so we should focus on breeding more of each specie.

Not advisable to mesh two different species. There is already issues from different types of stars being mixed.

Additionally, if you are in the US and possess a CBW Permit, one of the stipulations to which you are agreeing when you apply for the permit is NOT TO HYBRIDIZE the species for which your permit is granted.

I would think if its possible, we would already have seen this in Asia. They like to keep all their species together, and surely they would appear by now one would think.
