Red eye

My Sri Lanken Star has red eye on his both eyes. Any body knows how to correct it.? Thanks

Can you post a pic? Your not using a coil bulb are you? If so, get rid of it. They are known to cause eye problems.

The nictitating membrane (third eyelid) sometimes swells and covers or partially covers the eyeball. This is sometimes caused by stress, sometimes an infection. It would be helpful and soothing if you were to put some ointment onto the eyeball three times a day. I use this one:

But it is becoming increasingly hard to find.

So I'm sometimes using this one as my second choice:

Thank you. I soak him with Terramycin two times. It seems he is getting better now. Hope it will work. If not I will use yours. But where I can get those things? Thanks

I buy mine at a feed store (a place that sells horse/cattle food), but you can also buy them online.
