redfoot tortoise and broccoli.??

The only species of mine the eat broccoli with gusto are the sulcatas, deserts and russians. All the others, including the YFs leave it on the plate. The only prep I do is to cut it lengthwise

Cut it into slivers and ad it as part of the varied diet.
(Cutting it is probably not actually required for adults?
Whenever I cook broccoli I give the stems and "branches" to my Redfoot and feeder insect colonies

is broccoli okay for redfoots to eat? and how would you guys prep it?
Small amounts mixed in with other foods once in a while are okay, but it shouldn't be a main food item fed daily. I grate or mince it for smaller tortoises and leave it whole for large tortoises.
