So i have a redfoot tortoise now and a friend of mine is needing to give his leopard tortoise away, would they be alright in the home. They're roughly the same size, I believe their habitats are similar, and there diets are close minus the protein.

I was wondering if anyone has tried this or heard of this?

It is not recommended to mix species. Their needs are not the same. They have different pathogens and different temperaments.

Please separate the torts asap so as to avoid bullying. Torts are not in need of company, the prefer loneliness. ;)

Kindly post pics of the torts as well as their enclosures.

And a very warm welcome to the forum! :tort:
