So I will most likely be moving up north to the mountains. Lots of beautiful space but it is mostly composed of redwoods. I know how harmful redwood can be but would needles from the trees above harm tortoises below?
Not a problem. Most all my fences are made out of redwood. I think you want to stay away from using the woods containing aromatic oils as bedding, but leaves/needles probably wouldn't be harmful.
