Hi! We’ve just rehomed two Herman tortoises from a friend who isn’t able to care for them anymore.
They told us they do not need anything, and can be outside in the summer months and brought in to sleep at night in our kitchen!
We’re in the UK - it’s between 14-17 degrees Celsius today. Are they okay in the garden in temperatures like this? Our garden is safe and enclosed.
I’ve been researching and it seems we need a heat lamp too? Is this for inside of a night time?
Should I be getting a tortoise table with a lamp inside the house for them of a night?
Sorry for all the questions - google is fairly overwhelming and I just want to work out what we need to keep them happy and safe.
