I had a scare today with Nelson's lights. Long story short, one of them tipped over and the bulb was near a plastic hide, plastic plants, and his substrate, which was very warm to the touch. It seemed a little smoky near his enclosure.

His UVB light has always been clamped and tied and very secure...I added the black light (the one that fell) for the cold winter nights.
Thank God I was home and nothing bad happened.

But I just want to remind you all to make sure those lights are secure!!!!

Very good advice, you should always check them every now and then.
