Over the weekend, I finally decided it was time to move my newest redfoot, Harper, out of quarantine and into Darwin's larger cage. So far, it hasn't been an amazing transfer (a small part of me was expecting instant best friends!), but I think Harper will be just fine. They've mostly kept out of each other's way, except when I force them to interact, at which point they'll get their faces close to each other for a few minutes then walk away. Harper has been a little out of sorts, though he's always been a bit of a scardy cat. Give him another week and I'm sure he'll be just fine. Darwin does what does best... which is hiding in his log. It's too small for Harper to get in, which is probably good.

And now for the picture! If you look closely, you can see the flat lines growing into between Harper's mini-pyramids. That's his new growth since I got him in late November. Looking good!

They're looking good! Mine rarely do anything together but eat (competitively) and sleep... To anthropomorphize: no high-fives, arm wrestling, or long conversations between the two of them.
