I know we have talked this subject into the ground...but check this out...I am fostering three Russians for a friends son...2 males and 1 female all with overgrown beaks...he says that these 2 were the same size when he first put them together...now the male is 1/4 the size of the female...I was putting a paint roller pan in their sleeping quarters (they spend the day on the floor in my tort shed). They got all excited and both rushed the pan, and the big female starting pushing the little male away, you can see her shoving him with her front leg...and she's blocking him from the pan with her body...
so I put the pan in and went for the water, knock on my door...so I bs with a neighbor for a bit....time passes...they are waiting, he's made an end around run as you can see...
Oh hell...I didn't get the water back in time so one of them left me a gift in the empty pan...lol...
people who say that tortoises and turtles are not very intelligent, but not the ones I end up with...somebody left me that poop on purpose telling me what they think of the empty water
