hello! so i have had my russian tortoise pebbles for like 5 weeks now he is 2 months old and I've heard young tortoises like pebbles still probably have a little bit of a soft shell is this true? because today i went to feel pebbles shell and the plastron is still soft and the back scutes next to the tail our still soft. is this MBD or just because he is a hatchling. please help!!

yes calcium 2X a week should i do more? UVB 10.0 Zilla 18" i am ordering a 4ft one to cover the whole enclosure here is a pic
