As many of you know, my mud turtle got trapped under her basking platform and nearly drowned.
I threw that one away, and put in an upside down terra-cotta plant pot in its place. She tried to get up on it but couldn’t. So I Super-glued plastic plants onto the sides so she could get traction and climb on it. But although she struggles hard, she still can’t get up on it.
Obviously she wants to bask, but I need to keep her SAFE.
Suggestions would be appreciated.

Make a pvc square frame the dimensions of the tank with 4 pvc legs. You can attach driftwood to the top part of the frame creating a basking platform. Especially with some of the driftwood overlapping into the water, there should be no problem.

Did that make sense?
