I've had it for like 3 years. Haven't used any of it in over a year cus I forgot about it. Its been kept in its original bag, closed, in our cold/cool garage all this time. Yesterday I took some pellets out and they look fine. Soaked the pellets and they feel/look fine. No weird smell. But dunno...perhaps too risky to feed? Or would it be safe? Its the 25lb bag which was way to big for my baby tortoise so I barely used any of it. I'm in Canada and there's like no other smaller options of Mazuri here for grassland torts.

As long as it looks and smells okay then I would use it. I freeze my extra. I don't keep it for that long but freezing it will not hurt it.

Bad mazuri smells rancid, if there isn't a smell I'd feed it to my torts. They already eat dead amimals and cat poo, a little old kibble is fine.
