I finally learned how to use my wife’s camera to upload pics to our computer! I still haven’t figured out all of the setting, but I wanted to post these pics at least. Tomorrow I’m starting on a portable outside enclosure, and will be taking step by step pics to upload.

Any idea if Sam is a Samantha, or a Samuel?

I was told that had to be narrow and a flat shell on bottom is a girl and a boy is concave and the canal where he poops is wider. Not sure how accurate that is.

WOW I love the enclosure. Beautiful, the tort too:D
The enclosure is a work in progress that I mess around with updating, its fun and relaxing after the office.  You can see the Styrofoam rocks I made and attached them to the side, they were complete but apparently I have a gremlin in the house that knocked a couple of them down and broke them, I say a gremlin because I interviewed all three of my boys and the wife but nobody seems to know how they broke…

Nice looking tortoise, what type of grass is she eating? it looks yummy, neat enclosure also, I like the croc barrier and the added touch with the seagulls, great imagination. We have gremlins also but ours have 4 legs (5 dogs and 3 cats). Len

I'd say it looks like you've got a Samantha there...

Nice enclosure. Very creative.

Wow, great enclosure. I love all the ways you have added little things to make it so eye pleasing. I hope Sam appreciates all your hard work. Great job. Good looking little " girl, boy" too.

I'm am very impressed. I'm trying to grow some seeds and well, I'm guessing it's the weather here in Florida that is screwing with it...

I would vote Samantha.

Yeah i was kind of thinking so too, just because how small she is. 7 inches 2lbs 12 oz at three years old. She did start life alittle harder though in her defense and has grown like a weed since I took her. I bought her from a kid on Craig’s list, how was paying any attention to her anymore and his mom decided she was going to stop taking care of her for him. Maybe she’ll hit another growth spurt.
