I have a desert tortoise in Colorado (yes, with papers). He is a rescue and is currently brumating. He needs to come out of brumation around end of March and my family and I are traveling abroad at that time. I am seeking someone who is an expert in tortoise care to help gradually wake him with proper lighting, heating and nutrition (which we can provide). If you know of a resource please let me know.
He is near and dear to our hearts and has been on a long journey with me for 30 years. He was not well cared for prior to us so he has special needs, needs to be soaked daily, needs his small nostrils cleared and wiped after soaking so he can breath, and also be fed home grown nutrients we get from Kapidolo Farms - which we will provide as well. I know this is asking a lot and we will compensate accordingly.
