Sexing year old Indian Star

Hi all,

Hope everyone had a nice thanksgiving with lots of good food and hopefully a not so dry Turkey!

My Indian Star Sunny is just over a years old and now weighs 306 g. I'm wondering if its possible to sex the tortoise now based on his size. My wife and I think he's a boy based on his anal scutes and long tail. However, he doesn't have as concave of a back as I seen in some of the sexing videos for male so I'm not sure. Any thoughts?

That’s definitely a young male. His tail will get longer as he gets older and he may or may not get some concavity. Some males get more then others.
