Shedding?

My Indian star is very small around 3 inches( Not sure about the age). Sometimes I see a very thin layer of skin coming out in the Afro between head and hands and sometimes on the head. Is that natural? If not what should be done?

The skin on tortoises sometimes flakes up and peels a bit. Its normal. Don't tug at it. Just leave it be. It helps a bit to soak them in a bit of warm water daily.

Normal. Just doing some good ol growing. Like yvonne said just soak her and dont peel it off.
