Well, it's official! Shellee's mom brought her over to us this afternoon.
We are so very excited. I have her set up in our filled in pool.
She is loving it so far and currently sleeping in her bed.
I took a bunch of photos so I posted them on my photobucket if you want to see Shellee's Home
She has some piramiding going on so we will be working on her diet. Any ideas or suggestions feel free to let me know!

Shellee is a very nice looking Sulcata you're lucky to have her and her to have you. Welcome to the forum there's lots of advice and experience on here for you to learn from. :D

Congrats! Pyramiding isn't as bad as I've seen, but definitely get that under control. Recent research shows it is more likely lack of humidity than diet, but yes also important to work on diet. If you can add some humidity to a warm hide (such as a dog igloo), plants, etc. That could help. Not so sure how you do this with a large tort but ask away and I'm sure someone has suggestions. I have heard of people even running a humidifier for a Sulcata living in a shed. She's pretty! Care to share more about your husbandry plans? Diet, enclosure, etc? Is that blue tub of water for her? Any grazing area? How much space do you have for her? Will she get to stay outside year round where you live? Best wishes.
