The person who sell it to me say it would be around 3 months old when I get it. Plus another 9 months with me..., hence I would say the buddy is 1 year old .....

thats a nice looking split... very smooth... you doing great there

Thank you! They're kept nice and humid. I've got two splits, but one was raised really rough before I got her. She'll smooth out nice and quick.

These are two of our baby Sulcata tortoise. We have them in a 120 gallon water trough. Substrate is 100% coconut coir. We have them on our covered back porch so have a UVB light in their tank. We have a panel on the top to prevent our other pets from getting to them. We live on the Texas Gulf Coast so it's pretty hot here. I numbered them so I could tell them apart. We weigh them once a week. We have an abundance of prickly pear, hens and chicks (echverius). They also love the occasional fig we pull of our fig trees. They are quite comical to watch. I know we will have to separate them in the future but for now they are doing quite well together. We bought them in May and they were about 3 to 4 weeks old.

I snapped this one of Dudley this a.m. I tried to show him eating the dead, brown grass, but as soon as he saw me he quit eating:
