Yes it's fine, a lot of them sleep this way. What is he sleeping on though?

He is sleeping on my bed with me. I don't move much while sleeping . And he immediately slept once I put him on the bed.
Oh. Thank you. I was worried
Sleeping on your bed with you is not good.

He needs to sleep in his own enclosure which is much safer.

Sleeping in a sprawled position is fine. Just not in your bed.

To which I will add that your tort needs the correct levels of humidity in order to grow healthily.

A tortoise gets that by being kept in its enclosure with proper substrate, heat and lighting.

Oh, he's adorable! GOD bless.

Oli (my Greek tort) very often sleeps that way, and at times he tucks his head into his shell and falls asleep. Neither worries me so long as he's comfortable, and having sweet dreams.
