Sleeping in Basking area

Hi, my hermanns tortoise seems to always like to burry himself in the basking area which is around 95 degrees.Is this normal and okay? Thanks

Yes. I would however check the temps in the rest of the enclosure to make sure that they are not too cold....if all checks out then perhaps it is the best feeling spot....

I suspect temperatures as well. The rest of the enclosure is probably too cool and it stays in the warmest spot.
