I bought two bags of Gardenplus All-purpose Top soil from Lowe's earlier. (It's in a green, blue, and white bag, if this sounds familiar to anyone) When I got home, I saw the ingredients contains Fly Ash.
After looking up Fly Ash online I learned that it's some remnants from burning coal. It's supposed to be good for plants, but would this soil be ok for my Russian tortoise's bedding? I was going to put the soil down then have a layer of cypress mulch on top.
