I would like to apologize to the forum. It was my comment that started this and I was hoping it would just die down and go away. I don't go to movies at all and so I didn't know that was a line from a movie. Taken out of context I thought it was kind of offensive. So please accept my apology and understand my comment in this instance was born out of ignorance and I am hoping we can just move on.

How big/old is Crush?

Maybe some stones or river rock to climb on????

When Ralph was a hatchling, we cut an oatmeal box longways and made a few "tunnels" for him. He didn't really seem to use them as hides, just walked through them. He had his "bed" which was his regular hide.

Maybe add some plants that he can walk under/through?

I've never given Ralph a toy ball, so I don't know about that. Sounds kinda fun for him, though so I may try it. If doing that, just make sure it's big enough he can't bite or get in his mouth.

I never see "toys" in the enclosures at the zoo. I wonder why. I'm going to ask them next time I'm there. (Though I am more trusting of the group here for sully advice).

I do think that this place is a little uptight and strict,and i will probably not post here because of that.There are plenty of other forums that fit me just fine without having to worry about bull crap that i do not need.A signature that was just fine in my eyes,and many others caused a ruckus,What's to say it may not happen again?,No thanks,i am a member of plenty of forums that will not give me crap for stuff like this.

OK, I thought maybe this subject was done. But guess not. After looking up the movie it is a PG 13 movie rating. The signature or partial "quote" used explicit or otherwise inappropriate comments and language for our community, and was out of context. I am sorry if this upset anyone that this person was asked to change their signature. As Addicted said it is "editing", “censorship”, and in the signature is where you want to be able to let the community know a little about yourself. But we are a tortoise forum and we do have young children on the form. And this is how we chose to run our forum. Not all forums will fit all people and not all people will fit all forums. I do hope that Addicted and any others that feel we are to "uptight" or "strict" with this policy, will give the community a try. They may find that when they have spent time talking with people on the forum that if given a chance we are really a great community of very caring tort people.
