Don't you just hate it when snail slime sticks to your chin?
Ew. Just one more reason why I would never get a tortoise that had to eat snails. Ew.
I tried to feed a couple slugs to my box turtle but she wouldn't touch it.

Yeah, I noticed a preference for 'European Garden Snails" over another kind of snail in my backyard and slugs.
Redfoots, emys, box turtles....
"Would" is a whole 'nother concept from "has to." Yes, I have box turtles and Manouria. But I don't HAVE to feed them snails for them to be happy campers.
Nor do kinixys need snails
I do not think there is a tortoise that HAS to be fed snails.
