Hi there!
I’m a new red foot owner. I’ve started to notice what I believe are growth lines on tortilla, I’ve had him for two weeks now. Yesterday while soaking I noticed these white spots on his shell. I’m not sure what they are because it’s not chipped and when it’s wet and after scrubbing you can’t really see them but when he’s dry you can see them again. While searching on here I saw that it could be something similar to a fungus so I bought hibiclens and a clotrimazole cream. After soaking today I used the hibiclens and a toothbrush to scrub his shell then rinsed and applied the cream.
I keep him outdoors in a tortoise table so I haven’t been really worried about humidity because I live in south florida.
Any ideas?
